Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 – Arrival & Inland Village Immersion
The tour begins with an arrival at CMB and a transfer to a quiet, inland village region (e.g., near Habarana or Dambulla), immediately bypassing the main tourist hotels for a homestay/local guesthouse.
Morning Transfer (10:00 AM): Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) and transfer to a pre-selected inland village area (Approx. 4 hours drive).

Day 05 – Transfer to the Southern Rainforest
A long transfer day from the Central Hills down to the remote South-Western region, home to the Sinharaja Rainforest.
Long-Distance Transfer (08:30 AM - 03:00 PM): Check out and commence the long but scenic transfer across the island to the outskirts of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. Stop for lunch en route.
Check-in & Relaxation (03:30 PM onwards): Check into an eco-lodge or homestay known for its proximity to and association with the local Sinharaja tracking community.

Day 06 – Sinharaja: Community Guided Nature
Morning dedicated to exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Rainforest with a certified local tracker from the surrounding villages.
