The route traverses the entirety of the Cultural Triangle (Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Dambulla) before concluding in the last royal seat, Kandy. Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 – Arrival & The Medieval Capital
The tour begins with an early morning pickup at CMB and an immediate transfer deep into the Cultural Triangle, bypassing Dambulla to start at the farthest point, Polonnaruwa.
Morning Transfer (08:00 AM): Pickup from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) and immediate transfer to the Polonnaruwa area (Approx. 5-6 hours drive).
Check-in & Lunch (01:30 PM - 03:00 PM): Arrive at the hotel near Polonnaruwa/Habarana, check in, and enjoy lunch.
Afternoon Exploration (03:30 PM - 05:30 PM):
Polonnaruwa Ancient City: Begin exploring the medieval capital, focusing on the Parakrama Samudra and the impressive ruins of the Royal Palace and the Quadrangle.

Day 02 – Rock Cut Art & Transfer to Anuradhapura

Day 03 – Anuradhapura: The Greatest City

Day 04 – Monolithic Sculptures & Sigiriya
